Professional Advisors
Community foundations throughout the UK work with professional advisors to help facilitate their clients charitable giving and philanthropic needs.
Individuals and Families
Community foundations work in partnership with professional advisors to provide individuals and families the opportunity to consolidate their giving in a Community Foundation fund (similar to setting up a charitable trust, though without the administrative burden or annual reporting and accounting).
Charitable Trusts
Community foundations also help charitable trusts that are held by professional advisors, and are able to deliver grant-making on behalf of the trust. Should a charitable trust wish to wind up, community foundations are able to wind up the trust and establish a new fund while preserving or modernising the charitable aims and objectives.
